September 08 was “Recovery Month” in Oklahoma. Governor Brad Henry signed a proclamation on 09/25/08 encouraging & supporting all organizations, including CR & CRI, that provide services to assist people seeking recovery.

Celebrate Recovery Inside participated with 27 other organizations that joined in a rally on the 4th floor of the Capital Rotunda, “putting a face on, and giving voice to, recovery.” It was a wonderful opportunity to share the CRI program with other secular & faith-based organizations, also reaching out to hurting people. The rally ended by joining hands & sharing the Serenity Prayer.
